About Our CEO & Founder

For fifteen years prior, Carlin West served as Executive Vice President, Acquisitions and Development, for leading children’s entertainment company 4Kids Entertainment (NYSE: KDE). In her tenure at 4Kids, West was responsible for the brand acquisition, launch, television positioning, licensing, advertising, public relations and marketing programs for many of today’s leading brands in entertainment including: the launch and execution of Pokémon (Hasbro), Yu-Gi-Oh! (Mattel), the successful return of the one-of-a-kind Cabbage Patch Kids (Play Along, Jakks), World Championship Wrestling (Toy Biz), Clear Chanel Entertainment Motor Sports’ Monster Jam (Mattel), Artlist Collection’s The Dog (LIMA 2004 Best Art License) and The Cat (Play Along), The American Kennel Club (Jakks Pacific), Jim Henson’s Pajanimals and The Winx Club (Mattel). West also spearheaded the acquisition and launch of the groundbreaking trading card game Chaotic, which brought together an animated television series with a physical and online gaming experience. The Dog and The Cat McDonald’s Promotion was named License! Magazine’s Best Quick Service Restaurant Premium of 2005. West was also granted the 2009 Women in Toys Wonder Woman Award for Licensing.

West joined 4Kids Entertainment in 1993 as a consultant and independent television producer with her original creation of WMAC (World Martial Arts Council) Masters (Bandai), a live action martial arts-themed weekly television series. She went on to become Executive Vice President of the WMAC, overseeing the property’s marketing, advertising, and public relations. Subsequently, she took on licensing, marketing and PR responsibilities for Turner’s World Championship Wrestling (WCW), which became the most popular wrestling license in the marketplace and led to its acquisition by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
